Here it is, in glorious technicolour – the purple/lime big birdie skirt from Clothkits, designed by Jane Foster and lovingly handmade by me.
When I told one of my sisters that I had bought myself a skirt but that I had yet to make it, she looked incredulous at me – out of my mind? maybe, but I am very pleased with it (and myself), though looking at the photo you wouldn’t think so by my face – sorry, not a natural model!
