All of my life I have been making and doing, cooking and sewing, cutting and sticking and for me the greatest creative buzz comes from making, original creations from things other people were throwing away. To make new plants from old, tasty dinners from fridge finds, home-brewed compost from kitchen scraps or a fabulous cushion from a favourite cardigan, is the ultimate in rewarding work.
